WELL!!!! It's been months since Elly let me post out here. Lots has happened

I was enjoying my home in Arizona and having fun there. All of a sudden there was a flurry and next thing I knew, Dave was carrying me outside and put me in this tin box. UGH!!! small. Scamp came next and then Ittybit got into it. After Dave and Elly got in, there was a loud noise. I hid under the back seat behind all the computers.

I got up on Elly's lap and looked out the window. It was dark. Where did the light go? I don't like this. I told everybody that too...as only I can. I have a big SIAMESE voice, lol, and told EVERYONE how uncomfortable I was.

FINALLY, got to a place where Dave carried me in. WOW lots of new smells. Hey wait, there's another cat in here. Oh yeah, now I remember this place. We were here before. I know where EVERYTHING IS.

Hey wait a minute. We aren't staying here!!!! Gosh already, this is a nice place. Why can't we stay here. Have lots of room to run and play and Spunky is a pretty nice cat.

Oooooh I don't feel good. Ooooooh I don't feel good. Oooooooh I don't feel good. I am sooooo sick feeling. Whoops accident. Couldn't help it.

Guess Dave and Elly were pretty worried about me. They petted me, fed me good stuff. I was pretty sick for a couple of days. Don't know what it was. BUT I DON'T LIKE TRAVELLING!!!!!!!

Heard Dave and Elly say we were in Washington State again. We have to stay in the small tin box. It's ok, got a nice comfy bed in the back, food, water and Ittybit's blanket. Oh yeah, got toys too. It's pretty hot wherever we are and there's a little kid too. I'm not quite sure about him. He's ok if he just pets me, but I don't want him to chase me, that's for sure.

Elly left her necklace on the window back here with my bell ball. Hmmm that's pretty interesting. Wonder where that crack goes. Necklace fit pretty good in there, BUT I can't get it back. Oh well, the ball rolls nicely in the hole by the window. Earrings, now how about that...

We stayed here for so long. Was pretty fun. We got to go into this big bldg. It was huge...lots of places to hide, not very warm and I SMELL MICE. Lots of boxes, too....We'd stay here in the day time and go to the tin box at night and sleep with Dave & Elly there. Some nights Scamp would make a pest of himself trying to get out. He didn't like the tin box at all.

Only interesting thing that happened was we got a new kitty. She was pretty scared, I guess when Elly brought her into the tin box. She stayed on the bed most of the time, but I tried really hard to make her feel welcome. Shared my food even. Shared my toys too. She finally decided we were ok. She liked Elly and Dave, but Scamp and me, took her a little time.

She's going to stay with Grandpa and Spunky cause they lost all their kitties and Spunky needs a new buddy. Grandpa named her Rascal. She told me that she had had a really bad time. She'd been outside for months and the cats where she'd been, beat her up terribly. Which was why she was scared of Scamp and Me. We're pretty good guys. We just wanna play.

Finally we're travelling again in the tin box. Not so bad this time. Not sick. We got to grandpa's house with Spunky in it and stayed for awhile.

Rascal really likes it here. She NEVER wants to go outside again. Lots of stuff to do, food and a big window to watch what's going on outside. SHE LOVES IT HERE. Took her about 15 minutes to make up her mind, LOL.

We stayed lots of days and nights. Rascal and I ran all over the house chasing each other. Spunky likes Rascal and is glad she is here.

Lots of things to watch out the window...lots of toys too. We cats steal Ittybit's bed though...He has to sleep on the floor, hahahahaha.

Travelling again. It's getting to be ok. Lots of different smells that's for sure. We're home again. Boy this place is a mess. Heard Elly say that they had been broken into and lots of stuff stolen.

They left food all over the house on plates. She had a big box of dirty dishes to wash. Some she threw away and some she washed. She and Dave cleaned up the house though before they would let us in. Someone had dumped all the medicines in the house inlcuding the tums on the kitchen floor and then spilled pop on top of that. I guess it was a horrible mess.

No water either, cause a pipe had broken and we only had a gallon in the tin box. No way to heat water up, so Elly just used the cold water to wash the floor. They spent 2 hrs scrubbing the floor before they would let us in. BOY I CAN SMELL M I C E. Checking everywhere for those things. Gonna catch me one.

NO MICE!!!! darn. that pesky orange cat that comes in must have got them all. Why doesn't he stay out of here. It's OUR house. Dave says he's sneaking in thru a hole somewhere. He eats OUR food.

Nice to be home. My box is just like I left it. So much fun. Had to make the hole bigger so I could go in and out through the top. That orange cat better not come in here. MY BOX, MY FOOD!!!!

Ooooooh the house is nice and quiet and I'm scared. That orange cat is coming in. Going to stay right here on the sofa, nice and quiet. Ouch he and Scamp got into a fight and he bit Scamp. Poor Scamp, his foot hurts. He can hardly walk on it. Boy I'm going to get that orange cat for that.

Next time he comes in, I'm going to get him and my buddy Ittybit is looking for him too. Ittybit goes outside, so he's checking outside and I'm sitting by the door watching for him inside. Ittybit barks to come in when he thinks that orange cat is getting into the house. Early warning system.

Ittybit comes in and runs to the laundry room to check. Darn no orange cat. I'm waiting though. Gonna chase his butt right out again. He can't eat our food. No sirreeee. And he's not going to bite Scamp either.

Got one. Got me a mouse. Yippeee. Carrying it all over the house. grrrrrr don't anyone take it. It's MINE!!!!!. Whoops got away. Darn was so much fun to play catch and release. That mouse was pretty smart. Hid behind Elly's boxes in the laundry room. Scamp and I waited for a long time, but he never came out. Now we can't find him.

Elly keeps saying she's going to get proper mice traps cause the resident mouse catchers aren't working. WE ARE TOO!!!!!

Next time, not going to play Catch and Release. Will find another game. (note from Elly....Bandit caught another mouse and HE DIDN'T LET IT GO....carried the mouse around for hours. the first one that got awayhad him looking for hours for it and checked every place they had been to see if it was there. Was too funny....now back to Bandit.)

Had to go eat a bite. See that Elly was on telling about my last mouse. We are going in the tin box again. Elly is getting boxes and boxes ready to take. We're off. Going to spend Christmas with Grandpa and Spunky.

Uneventful trip. Have to say though I thought the trip was never going to end. It started to rain and it was dark and I DIDN'T LIKE THAT 1 bit at all. Meow, meow, meeeeeoooooow. Can't we stop, when are we going to be there...are we there yet? Are WE THERE YET!!!!!!?????? WHEN????

Finally, we're stopping. Roads don't look very good and it's cold. Spunky, we're here. Oh oh. Spunky, you don't feel good. They took out 6 of his teeth. Rascal and he are glad to see us. Rascal says she's been catching mice and I can help too. She's hid them around the house here and there, so she could play with them. Grandpa puts them out in the garbage when he sees her with them. Darn. Says they're coming into the garage. Haven't seen a one since I got here. That darn Rascal must have gotten them all.

Oh well...I'm going to chase her upstairs, downstairs. hahahahaha. Grandpa has a nice new kitty too. Her name is Kie and she just stays in the garage ontop of Grandpa's car. I like this new kitty. She's very quiet, but we'll get her going yet.

Christmas came and went. James put up a tree with lots of swell stuff on it. We get yelled at when we go to smell it. Gosh, we just wanted to smell, it Rascal and me. Good thing they put our scratching post and turbo scratcher over in another corner. I was looking for that.

Ok end of my tale. or is it tail. Maybe I'll get to post more. Elly says we're going home in a couple of weeks, but I'm sure I'll have something to say b4 that. Bandit

Just had to tell everyone that reads Bandit's wunderful world about new internet money processing site. I love getting something for free. this is no joke.

Joined this site last week. Got my $25 for joining. Got my $10 for each referral I made.

Was so easy. took 2 minutes and I had my $25. Referred from my email list and made another $10 for each referral.

They are competing against sites like PAYPAL. They offer a lot including no processing fees for sending or receiving money. They are a bank from back east that decided to get into internet money processing, so they are paying you to join and to refer people to them.

Ebay sellers this is great. Believe me. I've spent a fortune on processing fees when I was selling on Ebay. 3% of every sale I made went to Paypal along with the sellers fees to Ebay.

Just email me today at wunderland4(at)hotmail(dot)com. Sorry I had to make the email like this. Didn't want spammers or hijackers getting my email. Just send email like usual. You just can't cut and paste it.
This is Elly on Wunderful World this morning.

Bandit is busy chasing his brother, Scamp around the house and chasing leftover bugs from last night. We always seem to have 1 or 2 moths that get into the house from somewhere. Makes for great cat entertainment.

Anyway. I clicked on the adsense ads on this blog, to check and make sure they were something I would want here.

I'd never thought about cat retirement homes before. I clicked on the ad, and went thru it. I enjoyed the site and really really like the idea of somewhere for our pets.

We're closer to 70 than 60 now and have been worrying about our 2 cats and Ittybit, our dog. I really don't ever want to be without a pet companion and was worrying about their outliving us. What to do with them, where would they go.

Lots of pets get euthanized when the owners die. What a wonderful idea to set up a Pet Trust Fund for their care. We love our pets and they are wunderful companions and great source of entertainment for us. They give us unconditional love (ok, so maybe cat's love isn't unconditional, LOL) and help keep us stress free.

Petting and grooming and looking after your pet can prolong your life. So there are health benefits for a senior to keep a pet. Even though we have 5 acres I still walk my dog for an hour every day. Just petting your cat or dog can de-stress you. Research has shown that animals brought to seniors in rest homes is extremely beneficial for them. So there you have it.

Just a human's thoughts about pets on Wunderful World of Bandit. I guess that should really be Bandit's Wunderful World. Might change the name, if I can figure it out.

Ooooooh it's soo hot. I just wanna lay around where it's cool, like mom and dad's closet.

Nobody is moving much around here lately. Toooooo hot to play. Don't even wanna eat much.

Mom says it's going to be hotter than 86F and it's coming soon.

on't have much time this morning for Wunderful World.

Gotta play while it's still cool out. Scamp is racing all over the furniture and telling me "Race Ya!

Yesterday was pretty hot. Mom & Dad left us alone for HOURS!

They came home with lots of stuff. I LOVE the plastic sacks.

Scamp finally got mom up and then managed somehow to get her to open a can of yummies. He's sooooo good at that. But that was 1/2 hr ago and I'm HUNGRY again. Going to to get a nibble.

Hear that Austin is coming today. Guess that means I gotta help clean the house.

See ya tomorrow in Wunderful World.

Got IT using the escape hatch

Thursday, March 20, 2008

Yep, it's Thursday, Mar. 20, 2008. Elly says I can write a few words again in Wunderful Word, but I can't take too long cause she's got a great Sourdough Recipe in cook with Elly.

Yesterday was a great day. Took a few naps, and played a lot. Dave played with me and I chased Scamp all over the house. Played in our box together and I took most of my toys into my box to hide them and play with myself. I especially like my golf balls. They are so easy to pick up and carry around. Little round balls with holes in them. I surely do like to pick stuff up and carry it around.

I fool Elly all the time. I take her pens off her table and play with them. They roll sooooo easy and when I'm bored, I pick em up in my mouth and hide them. It's always a surprise to her when she finds them. She can't figure out how they got there. hehehehehe I could tell her. Sometimes I take her clothes especially her socks and her hair bands and carry them off and hide them. She's always finding them in strange places.

Last night when the window was open a big white moth came to visit me. Dave says he's never seen a white moth before. I wanted it to come in and play with me...but Dave closed the window and said that I was tearing up the screen. Gosh, I was just playing with the moth. It's not my fault that my feet have claws and I have to use them. At least I'm not like Scamp and I use the scratching post and cardboard box instead of ALL the furniture. He's such a bad boy. Elly's always yelling at him to "QUIT IT". hehehehe.

Oh well. this promises to be another beautiful day. Bright and sunny and I'm full of energy. Ready to tackle that Scamp. I think I'll go see what's cooking with Dave. He and I share his cereal. Mmmmm so good. See you tomorrow on Wunderful World, maybe, Elly says. Maybe we'll have new pictures for you.

Today is Wednesday, March 19, 2008 Bandit the Siamese Cat

Today instead of Cook with Elly, Elly said that I could write a bit.

What a horrible night. I tried to sleep but Elly and Dave kept moving about too
much AND all night. If it wasn't them, it was my bratty brother, Scamp coming in
and walking over everyone. AND it was COLD.

I wanted to sleep on that nice
fleece blanket on the bed crowded into everyone so that I could keep warm.
Not Scamp though, he marches in and across everyone and wakes everyone
up. He's lonely, I guess with no one up. He wants me to play with him or Dave
to scratch him under his chin. ALL I know is he's a brat waking me up EVERY
night.

Finally I'd had ENOUGH!. I got up and went out to the room with all the windows
and waited for the big yellow thing that is up above us almost every day. Elly
calls it a sun and it's up in the sky. It keeps me warm. I hate it when it's not
there. I curled up in my round basket and waited. And waited, and waited.
Finally, I see it waking up. It moves slowly over the things that are in its way (I
think Elly says those are mountains) and FINALLY it's up enough. Dave's always talking about how nice it is to see the sun come up everyday, instead of rain.

We've moved down here recently and they won't let us go out. We, Scamp and
I sat at the door when we first got here and waited for it to open. Such smells
coming in. I wonder what that place is. One day the door was open, so we
went outside. Scamp left me all by myself and was gone playing. Me, I was
sooo scared I hid under the house until I heard Elly and Dave calling me. Boy
was I glad that they did. NEVER WANT OUT AGAIN. Too big, waaaaay too big
out there. Elly says there are a lot of coyotes out there and that is why she
doesn't want us to go out. Fine with me, whatever coyotes are. I can sit on the
windowsill and look out. Lots of bugs come on the screen, birds fly all over and
occassionally I see a critter. Scamp still looks for the door to be open, but I
noticed that he doesn't do it as much as he used too.
Aaaah, it feels soooo good to be warm and nobody bothering me. Think I'll
take a wee nap. They call them siestas down here. Oops talked too soon.
Here's Scamp poking me. I guess he wants to play. I'm going to get him for
waking me up. Jumped on him and he ran off. Up and over the bed across
Dave & Elly. Hey, it's time they were up anyway. Hmm that pillow looks pretty
soft and Elly's not using it. I think I'll lay down on it for awhile. I was RIGHT. It is
soft and I'm getting a scratch too. Think I'll purr.
Elly's out in the kitchen. I wonder what good things she has for us to eat this
morning. Heck, no treats. She's just filling the food bowl with...now wait a
minute....NEW FOOD!!!! Ooooh, smells sooo good. Next she's getting the dogs
water bowl to fill it up. She's dumping out my tea. That's just not fair.
I went to a lot of trouble getting those tea bags and putting them in the dog's
water bowl. He doesn't need it. He's outside most of the day. I wanted a nice
cuppa tea. hehehehehe. She's wondering how I found those tea bags. Let you
in on a little secret. The bottom drawer doesn't have it's drawer in there, so I
scoot into there, nobody sees me, hehehehehe. Lots of stuff to investigate
there and it's nice and dark.
There's a big box that's sooo interesting to dig around in and it has so many
delicious smells in it. Elly puts stuff in there all during the day. Some of it's ugh
awful, but some mmmmmm smells so good. She put the tea bags in there
yesterday, hehehehehe and I thought they'd be good to play with They come in
nice little packages with strings on them. So I played with them awhile. She
didn't see me...then in the dog's water bowl they go. Watched them sink to the
bottom of that huge big bowl and I couldn't get them out. Owwwww. Oh well,
off to do something else.
There's my red string on the floor. Nah, don't want that. Let's see what Dave's
doing. He wants to BRUSH me. AAAH NO, don't like that. I'm escaping...down
the hall and back into my chair. Heck they are all my chairs.
Dave's filling something with water....I so like that. That's the most interesting
stuff...it moves, it's wet, and it makes noises and it tastes good. I love watching
it. Everytime I hear those noises I gotta go see. It's endlessly fascinating. I can
be sound asleep and THAT NOISE wakes me up, instantly. In fact any noises
facinate me. Kitchen sounds, dishes rattling, refrigerator door opening, paper
rustling, someone brushing their teeth. I can be asleep but they sound so
interesting to me, that I gotta wake up and see what exactly is going on.
Hey Elly is cleaning the kitty tray. Can I help, can I can I. Shoot she won't let
me. I get into the box and play with the sand and she puts that silly shovel into
it and takes stuff out. Makes it all nice and clean and then I can play in it.
There's Scamp, my turn. I jump on him and away we go wrestling. Rolling over
and over on the floor. First he's on top and then me. It's so much fun. He's
bigger than me, but that's ok. I can hold my own. Dave got a new bicycle
(that's what he calls it) and he left the box out. Box had little holes in it. Boy
was that fun. I made it so I can go inside and poke my head out. Scamp sits
on top sometimes and we play through that hole. that's the neatest play toy
they ever got me. I love flipping the lid up and scampering inside. Nobody can
see me either until I put my paw or head up through the hole. It's also good to
scratch my claws on.
I got these big feet with an extra toe on each one. I guess that's true cause Elly
says it. She plays with my feet all the time. I can do such interesting things with
my feet. I can hang on to ledges that I'm sitting on, pick stuff up.
Must be time for lunch. Dave's turn today. He's making tuna sandwiches.
Ooooh that's my favorite. I'm going to help him make them and see if I can
sneak some. Elly yells at me for getting on the wooden counter where Dave is
working, but we ignore her. hehehehehe. She's not making lunch so I CAN BE
HERE. Dave lets me. He shares too....so nice. Great job, Dave.
He's pouring the water out of the can into 2 little bowls for Scamp and Me. If I
drink mine all up in a hurry, then I can get what Scamp has. He shares pretty
good. Whatever is his, is mine. Just like the dog. He gets such good stuff.
Well, I'm going to go curl up and take a nap. See you another day. tomorrow
it will be Cook with Elly day. Take care and watch for me again.
